Transmission install help

I've been trying to reinstall the transmission in my 318is and the trans will not go all the way back on. The clutch disc is aligned with the pilot bearing. the engine and transmission are aligned, but it won't go all the way on.

Any tips or tricks? Anything I may have forgotten?

Unless you used a clutch alignment tool, the clutch disc and pilot bearing aren't aligned. That would be the most reasonable explanation four this.

Not really sure what was going wrong, but a second attempt and it just went right on. Don't care why anymore, the trans is back in.
