anyone using an aftermarket external fuel pump?

I'm going to replace my fuel pump soon, and I was thinking of going with an aftermarket pump. I just wanted to know if anyone has done this before and what there thoughts are on doing this? Currently I am looking at MSD's fuel pump that summit racing has. Here is a link to the pump on summit's site.

    Any thoughts welcome.

    Thanks,
    Steven

You just doing it because its cheaper than the stock one?
That one will probably work just fine.

pretty much, as long as the flow rate isn't less than the stock pump. I don't know the rate for the stock pump so I couldn't compare.

i have an inline walbro 255 hp going in when i put the fuel cell in. you could run an intank walbro, i would go with a 190. there is a little bit of modifying that needs to be done to get it in there securely though.

I looked at both the 255 and the 190. I like the prices on them. I assume that if I run a pump like this then I can do away with the external pump?
