    Cant get steering coupling out.

I'm trying to replace my master cylinder and the guide I found to do that says to remove my steering coupling. As far as I can tell this is impossible. I've removed the two bolts completely that hold it to the column and the rack and i've yanked on it, I tried to remove the steering rack but I really have no idea how that comes out as it looks like the oil pan is in the way.

I'm at wits end, I'm seriously about to set the car on fire and let it burn.

There is no need to fiddle with the steering column or rack to replace either the brake master cylinder or the brake booster.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

jlevie, you are right. In the end I cut a hole in the wheel well, dead simple, don't know why I didn't think of it earlier.
