    Rough Ride!

Hey guys, I have a 88 E30 with 16" wheels, H&R E30 M3 springs and Blistein HD shocks. My problem is that i feel as if on a bumpy road I get no absorption, as if riding on metals all day. My other problem is that the car feels to bouncy.
I use the car for every day driving, I like to have a stiff suspension, but the one I have now is just way too much. Can you guys suggest a suspension setup that will cure these problems.

Check first to see if the lyf3styl3 krew removed your rubber spring pads. I wouldnt imagine that setup being harsh unless you had no spring pads, polyurethane bushings, or 40 psi in your tires

Bilstein HD shocks/struts are standard length and you maybe bottoming those out if you are much lower then stock on those springs.

I would like to add that if your suspension feels 'bouncy' then you most likely have some blown dampers. I would check those as a starting point.

The springs and shocks aren't extreme and shouldn't result in all that harsh a ride. The wheels, on the other hand, have little sidewall and will make for a rougher ride. Throw a set of OE wheels & tires on and see how they are.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Pitch those shitty Bilstein and get a set of KYB: GR2 in front, Gas-a-just in rear (all they make for E30) and with the M3 springs you will have a nice, comfy-yet-sporting ride, not the bulldozer quality ride Bilstein gives you.

I thought the M3 springs and Billy HD shocks work well together. The bottoming out is when using H&R sport with HD shocks...

I check the air pressure and the rear tires were at 40psi, so put them down to 32. The ride is a little better, but still over bumpy road the ride is harsh.
                  Will check bushings next.

Honestly I'm not sure that is your issue, I had seen the H&R springs and was mentioning if you are any lower then stock height that maybe stock length shocks/struts might be bottoming out.

I have H&R Race, Billy Sports, and 15x7 Kosei K1s with 205/50/15 tires, and the ride is great. I actually wish i had stiffer suspension like coilovers.

I inspected the front shocks yesterday, and the spring pads seem are coming out of place. Maybe this is why
