    Oil service light stuck on

My oil service light is stuck on, 89 325ic, even when keys are not in ignition... I am a noob at electrical stuff. Anyone know a good place to start for looking for a short? Ive never even taken a cluster out so this oughta be interesting.

yeah, it didnt work. Previous owner swapped out the gauge cluster, I wonder if he hooked up a plug or wire incorrectly.

That is probably a bad SI board in the cluster.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

this. my 87 ETA did the same thing, and eventually the tach stopped working too. replaced the SI board and it was right as rain.
