    ICV Troubles

i've never heard of this problem, until recently that is. i just brought the car out of winter storage the other day everything was fine, no problems what so ever until today. start up the car this morning everything is fine sits at a high idle as ambient temps are still hovering around 0 in the mornings, once warmed up the car runs fine, idles perfect everything is great, until your about 10-15 minutes into a drive then when pulling up to a stop light, push the clutch in, it decides it want's to idle around 1000-1100 oh well no problem i'll clean out the icv with a little electronic parts cleaner. get that all done tighten everythign back down go for a quick drive perfect, car feels smoother through the revs, everything is great. i take a quick drive into town tonight probably about 10 minutes after being fully warmed up the car begins to idle at 1000-1100 again. so i run into a store come back out start the car it's at about quarter on the temp neddle, just about fully warmwhen i leave the store, pull into traffic next set of lights problem returns. this only seems to occur once the car is fully warmed up and been driven for a while, any ideas is the ICV shot or whats going on here.

If the problem only occurs once the car is fully warmed up, I would suspect the 02 sensor. It takes 2 seconds to disconnect it so its worth a look.

could be your temp sensors in the block or in the rad. check all of them and replace if neccisary haynes or bently should tell you the readings to expect from the sensor can't remember them off hand.
