How do you remove the trunk ID badges ,not the roundel but BMW model type. Are there clips or do you heat it to remove?

solvent works just as good, and no it doesn't eat the paint, and dont bother argueing with me, go ask a painter.

I just used Meguairs paint cleaner for the sticky residue...rubbed it till everything came off and now you cant even tell there was a badge there before.

WD-40 is a solvent. 'Solvent' is just a generic chemical term for something that dissolves the 'solute' in a solution.

I removed it and used Brasso brass polish to get residue off. Brasso can be used as a rubbing compound also. Just Wax when your done. Learned the Brasso thing from my model car building. Polishes automotive clear paint nicely.
