I searched here and realOEM. What is the piece that holds the pedal into the floor. Is it part of the floor pan, welded in place or something that can be detached? If someone could get me a part number even if it is NLA or the entire floor pan. Thanks

Metal Clip that holds Gas Pedal to floor

The "clip" is part of the accelerator pedal and simply snaps into the floor pan (part 35411156488). If the floor pan isn't rusted out you can just replace the pedal. If it is rusted out you can bolt a hinge to the bottom of the pedal and to the floor pan.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Sadly it is rusted out on my good car. My parts car seems fine, however i don't know if I feel like cutting up the shell. Hinge sounds like a good idea maybe I could tack it to the floor?

This would help very much. Just wondering what you used to replace your floor pan any info would be welcomed.
Thanks to all!

Here is a cell phone pic of the brackets. I used .080" aluminum because that's what I had available. Two pieces of thin angle aluminum from Lowes would work just as well. You don't need a hinge on the bottom because the pedal itself acts as a living hinge at the top and bottom.
For the floor, I welded a piece of .060" sheet steel in the floor. It is overkill, but it's what I had laying around. Then use a seam sealer from an auto body supply store and paint.
