Wheel spacers on my new ride?

I just picked up my new e30 the other night. its a 91 325i convertable. Today i switched the wheels from my 318i to the convertable. The wheels are borbet type C 16/7.5 et 30.

Now that there on, the back ones are rubing like crazy, every little bump you can here it. i wanna buy spacers asap, but im not sure what how big i should get. It was night time when i was done puting them on so when i looked with the flash light its hard to tell where its rubing. What do you guys think its rubbing on? ITs very far away from the shock and sping.

Also how would i know what size spacers is there anything i can do to tell what size i would need?

ok, thanks for helping guys, jk

Anyways, i went out to the car today, and i feel like there is no possible way that the wheels are rubbing, i have about an 1in all the way around from all suspension parts it seems. I think it may be the shock mounts. I know they are bad to begin with, because when i drove the car with the old wheels on, you can kinda here them. Do you guys think that posibly wehn i jacked up the car that it messed up the mounts? Im gonna go out today after school And rip apart the trunk and check it out, but id like to know what you guys think about this?

Instead of worrying about your new wheels, I would suggest putting your old steelies or basketweaves or bootlecaps back on your car with good tires. Wide tires and winter weather do not mix. Just ask E9nine who is also a Jersey local.

Not only that why would you want to get salt oxidation on your new wheels.

First, try to find where they are rubbing, if they are rubbing on fender inner lips, than spacers won't help you, it will even make worse.

No way they would rub on the fenders unless he is slammed and running 235s or wider.

maybe you knocked loose that fender well plastic thing somehow. Is your car lowered? If not, there's probably something wrong down there, it isn't your wheels
