Will the "200" casting eta head work on the "i" block? Im sure this has been asked many times, but it is impossible to search for.

nope. Not with out custom pistons. and if you were thinking of doing the head swap to increase compression, you be better off getting high compression pistons for your "i" head and block, because the "i" head flows much better than the eta head via bigger valves. In addition, the eta head has a very poor 4 journal cam, and softer valve springs that limit it's rev, and power range to about 5 or 6k. You could take the head to a machine shop and have them drill it out to fit the 7 journal "i" cam, and use "i" valve springs (what many eta owners do), but then your still working with the poor flowing valves.
Basically, if you have the "I" head (885 casting?) you already got the good stuff. ;)
