      Really? Well - brake cleaner will f-up almost anything - so I can see that working.

        I am using paint stripper. It would have been easier to do without it. And now I have to strip to the bare metal instead of just painting on the stock baked primer

          I haven't used it, but there are a few right ups around here for using aircraft stripper

                Yeah by the all of the scratches have to be sanded out to 220 grit. The front is totally stripped but for the back I think I am going to try to just sand it level.
