How to install exhaust manifold studs?

how do i install exhaust manifold studs? when i was taking off the manifolds, the nut was so rusted onto the stud that they both came out - probably going to get new studs and nuts.

can I just double nut the new studs into the head? thanks

Yes. I did a drop of loctite, but chased all the threads in the head, so it was super clean.
