HELP! No start...no power at all...

Driving along in my 88' 325i and all of a sudden the car just shut down on me. Died completely...it's getting no juice from the brand new battery that I put in yesterday. All fuses are good. I tried swapping the main relay. Check battery cables. Ground on passenger side strut tower is tight. When I turn the key I get nothing at all. Not even a flicker! Any ideas???

Also, where is the ground wire bolted to the motor???

How do you know the relay you swapped in worked?

Check to see if power is present at both the large and small lugs of the power point in the engine bay. If you don't have power at the large cable, check the battery connections. If you don't have power at the small cable, but do at the large cable the fusible ink in the small cable (near the battery positive connection) has failed.

Start by checking your starting system if the engine doesnt move / turn over at all. Do your headlights work? and all other lights?

Are you saying nothing works? Lights, cluster lights, OBC, DIC, nothing?
