So im about halfway through building my turbo motor, and I am almost 90% dead set on a N/A 292 Camshaft. perfect powerband up to 6500 RPMS, with an adjustable cam gear, I can shift the power band a bit down, to make it a bit better lower end, without stressing them rockers.
however there is still a bunch of debate as to turbo cams, n/A cams, vs just a stock cam, like what Corky bell says.
the reason I am posting this is semi Reference for future turbo-ers. or just for plain out debate.
Much of my turbo knowledge q and a was brought by charlie, pinepig, and Mattias sandgren of Sweden. Both extremely knowledgable DIYers. especially in the turbo game.
IT seems like there is a concern that there will be blow by, and intake will just get blown through the exhaust with a higher cam, but thats not what the dynos, and experiences of these guys say....
304 Cam

Here are a couple crazy m10 turbos running 292's and 304 cams...
Here are some experienced guys, throwing out there comprehensive advice on the cams with turbo applications...
292 cam explained:
Interestingly enough there are more documented turbocharged cars with N/A Schrick Cams, than turbo specific regrinds
let the Turbo knowledge bloodbath begin.
Im about to get a 292 regrind cam with schrick single springs,
That way Ill make mad power up to 6500 rpm where I can call it quits before rockers go out..... What you think would be better?
