Need Advice: Engine stalls if not warmed up

Good day guys, I need your advice. I have an 85' 325 and every morning before I leave my garage, I have to warm up engine for 5 minutes otherwise engine stalls. After 5 minute warm up, engine runs great with no problem at all. After 8 hours at work, before I leave my office I have to warm it up again otherwise it would stall, but after 5 minute warm up car runs great again. What seems to be the problem here ?

    Thanks in advance.

Is this a m20b27 or an m20b25? or aka an i engine or eta engine? Lets make sure everyone is on the same page to start with.

It's a 325e japan version, not sure if its an m20b27 but engine is very similar to a 325e us version

My first suspicion would be intake leaks.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

it idles normally when you start it in the morning - if you dont warm it up for 5 mins, when you shift to drive... rpm drops then engine dies

Could be a bad icv, try disconnecting it in the morning and see if it makes it worse.

Here's an update, culprit were spark plugs and 1 defective socket of the high tension wire - thanks for the valuable inputs.
