    Motronic Test

    Anyone know how I can test a Motronic for a 1991 318 is?

          I have an ECU for a 318is I believe. I want to verify that is works before I offer it up. Short of plugging it up in a car... Any other way to verify she is in good order?

              Other than plugging the DME into a car and seeing how it behaves there's no DIY test possible.
              The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
