    325is running BAD. Suggestions needed.

I was drving yesterday, car was running fune. I was sitting at a stoplight when the engine started missing. Sounded like i was down 2 or 3 cylinders. I got home, checked the spark and fuel, have both. No coolant in the cylinders, BUT there is quite a bit of oil in the intake boot. Is the checkvalve support what keeps oil out of the intake boot? Is this what is causing the engine misfire, or do i have multiple problems? I also have a tear in the intakeboot, but it has been there for a couple weeks and it has run fine.

The oil isnt the problem. Get a new intake boot.

I sealed the boot up until the new one comes. The car is still doing the same thing. I have no intake leaks, thhere is no coolant out the exhaust, and no coolant in the oil. Any other ideas?

How is the cap, rotor, and plugs?
How does the coil look? Any signs of overheating?

There was a tear in the bottom of the boot i didnt see. I patched it temporarily, changed plugs, fixed an exhaust leak, changed the o2 and it runs fine now....until the car started running real warm. Popped the hood and the fan was stuck on the shroud. The motor mounts are broken. It never ends :curse:
