brake lines...how do they connect?

    brake lines...how do they connect?

    Can anybody tell me how are the lines connected into the part #3???
    mine is so corroded, I can't figure it out...

    They just thread in like they do into the master.

      So any vice grip or some kind of grip tool just be good to remove them?
      Do I only need to turn counter clockwise and that's it?

        I hate these forckers. I just replaced lines 1(both sides) and lines 12 and 13. What a Pain in the ARSE. Also replaced part 3. The old one was so rusted I couldn't tell if it was a bolt or a screw that held it in. PLUS ++++ you can't get in there to grind the bish out. All is good on the home front as I get ready to drive the 325ix for one more winter..

          Mine was a bit rusty when I was swapping out my diff. I wire brushed it clean, then coated it with moly. I'd suggest you do the same when you're done.

              Anti rusting lube/coating. Pretty much any sort will do. My rear line leaked and I was planning on doing the sub-frame bushings anyway, so I dropped out the back end and replaced all of the rearward hard-lines w/copper. It was 40 bucks for the 25 foot roll, which was more than enough to do the job. Just an fyi in case your interested in never having to touch your hard-lines again.
