So i was hardwiring in my radar....

Well i was hardwiring in my radar (from old car to new) and I blew the damn thing up.

Well After hooking up the switch custom on/off switch and getting it all wired up, the wire nut fell off the possitive wires, (seeing as i only had the hot wire capped)...well i didnt notice it had happened, and i moved my hand and the positive and negative touched. They crossed polairty and my radar is gone...but that is the least of my worries.

Im not getting any power from the cig. lighter wires at all, not even enough to power a small LED. i checked the fuse, and its fine. Im not much of a wiring guy, but i think i have checked all the basics. why am i not getting power?

Any help? Becuase i realy like having a radar, and im afraid i wont be able to run one anylonger until i find another source of power.

Sure thats the correct fuse? check all of them.
Maybe take a look at the wires to see if they are melted.

          i have a manual sunroof. :o

ive checked all my fuses, but il have to check them again, JUST to make sure.

i only used wire nuts to hold the wires in place to check connections before i solder them together.
