gauge calibration, and mtech II wheels problems

hey guys

recently i had a problem with my gauge cluster, blowing fuses, running, then blowing fuses etc etc. An auto sparky fixed it when I bought a new gauge cluster, but my fuel gauge and taco are not calibrated. I was wondering if there is any methods to fix this?

But as it turns out, there wasn't a problem with my cluster, it was my reverse light relay that was causing my fuses to blow, that all fixed though.

next question is, i bought a m-tech II wheel, and it doesnt fit. it slots on the column. but it leaves a large area exposed. its also a screw not a socket :???:. so its possibly from a m5 ??

Thats not an e30 wheel. The back of an e30 looks more like a lemon juicer bowl. lol

If you have a 318is, and you bought a late model 6 cylinder cluster for your car, you will need to swap the fuel gauge from your old cluster, as well as the coding plug, which resides on the lower right corner of the cluster face. It is held in place by two plastic tabs, and you pinch these tabs inwards to extract it.
