how to obtain security code for stock radio on e30?

just picked up stock radio for my e30, hokked it up and now i gotta put in security code, any idea how can i obtain it?
I called the dealership and they want to charge me $75

model: CM5809

What the fuck? They can look it up in 30 seconds flat. The dealership I used to work at did it for free all the time. Call back and ask to talk to one of the service managers or something because that's BS.

I just pulled up one day and asked if they could get the code. They didn't charge me a dime and were finished within 10 minutes.

Ask to speak with the parts manager, not the service manager. The parts guy can look it up in a minute tops. They gave me the code right over the phone at no charge, just be appreciative ;)
