CEL code 1215, car stutters during idle, stalls on accel

1215 is for your Vane Air Flow Meter(AFM) not Mass air flow(MAF). Check wires to the DME and make sure theres no shorts, like you said you found none.
Also read this and then test your AFM:

1216 is your TPS Throttle Positon Switch. Measures when the Throttle body plate is open via a potentiometer and sends signal to DME. Check these wires as well.

What routine maintenance were you doing? Would helps to know if you replaced something or had to remove something to gain acess to another part, etc.

I'm guessing it has something to do with your Air flow meter if the engine idle is jumping up and down at idle.
