I don't want to remove the bulb and would like to diagnose why the light is still on. There is continuity at both sensors. Plus, I changed out the sensors with other spare sensors and the light still stays on. How do I check to make sure the wiring is working properly? Thanks.
brake lining light- diagnosis , already replace sensors, don't want to pull bulb

With the key on, are you getting 12v at the connector for the front sensor?-Dave

Check continuity from the instrument cluster's C1-21 to C2-26 pins. If there is continuity there the fault lies in the cluster. Otherwise there is a wiring fault in the sensor circuits. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

jlevie is right again, (I think hes a robot to be honest).
But, Since your already screwing around with sensors, check for 12v at the rear sensor. If its not there, there's a resistor in the cluster that is particularly fond of suddenly becoming "well-done". A 220 ohm resistor of greater wattage should fix you right up.-Dave

I did not have continuity between blue 21 and white 26. How do I tell if the wiring fault is in the front or rear?Comment
