I got the CEL to flash, but the sites I've seen says it should go through the cycle then stop. Mine seems to keep flashing the code over and over. The code it appears to be flashing is 1222. Is that for a lambda sensor? What is that?

Update for me (long overdue, I'm lazy though)...

So I finally went out and purchased a new Bosch O2 sensor, and installed it. Reset my ECU and went out for a drive... and I felt buyers regret. Because my CEL still came on at idle. It doesnt bother me much, I am just afraid that my car may be running too rich at idle, and my emissions are due. I think I'm going to fail... I am going to get the emissions tested today, so I should have some better information to help me find the answer to this problem.

I had a similar problem. Check all your fuses... especially the ego heater fuse. Mine was blown and caused CEL at idle (even w/ a new O2 sensor)
