a/c condensor replacement- use oem or different design? r134a

I need a new condensor. Some has said that the oem is not adequate for r134a. But, I really do not want to do the customization for a parallel flow condensor. Any thoughts on which way I should go? Thanks.

Use the OE condenser and R12 or an R12 equivalent (like Freeze12).
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

R12 is too expensive and I only have a little left. I want to retofit and be done with it. I can get r134a at walmart all day long for cheap. From what I understand there is no equivalent to r12. You either use r12 or don't bother is what I have been told. So, I flushed everything and want to start fresh with a retrofit.
For those that are using 134a and the stock condensor, is it adequate?

mine is retrofit with the stock condenser, and in phoenix heat gets as cool as my other vehicle with factory 134 ac. set your aux fan for high speed operation only (a search on here will come up with how to), as this will increase the airflow over the condenser and help with the cooling at low vehicle speeds
I saved 15% on my Bimmer parts by switching to ...

Don't even think about R134, go Freeze12. Far better than 134, just as cheap and they make a drying agent so you don't even need to replace your dryer.

I'm bringing this back, but I'm using an m60 compressor which is made for r134a. I plan to change all of the o rings......and use freeze12. Is there any issue with using freeze12 on an r134a compressor?
