I was going to work the other day and it was raining so I went to turn on the wipers and they turned up and down once. The next turn they got half way up the windshield and there was a clank. They stopped in the middle of my windshield, but I could hear the motor still turning the linkage intermittently. I took it apart and poped the linkage back on but I don't think it will stay on. They upper one that controls the passenger side snaps on and off nicely, but the main linkage doesn't snap anymore. What can I do? I need help because I can't drive in th rain without them. Any Ideas or experience?

Buy a new wiper linkage arm for $5 online. Then take less than 10 minutes to press it in place by hand.
The little rubber socket is just worn down and that's why it won't stay on anymore. A new one can be pressed on with some force and without having to remove anything other than the driver side wiper and the little plastic grill.
