That sounds like a fault in the wiper switch or in the wiring in the steering column. But it could be a bad wiper control module. Start with the switch.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

i had a similar problem and i think that the issue was that i had a wire connection get grounded on the car.sigpic
