to remove a late style e30 fog there is 4 bolts on the back side of the valance they are 8mm if i remeber correctly. two above and two below the fog. remove those and disconnect the harrness and it will pop out. make sure it doesn't fall ;)

        hope that helps

depends on your e30 late or early model, i have the big bumpers so my fogs were mounted under the bumper and they came off with a screwdriver. the lenses came off from the held in by two screws

thats right, if your small engough you can slide under the front valance and see the bottom to bolts, and your going to have to feel for the top two.

              hope that helps

One of them on the top is a bitch to get off just for your reference.

                I bombed Korea every night.

Really? I just removed the two little grommets on the lens, took out the screws, and pulled it out. Plug out the harness and it's done. Never went underneath at all.

There's 2 ways of removing the fog...

1- remove the 4 8mm bolts from behind the valance.. This way the fog and brackets come out together
2 - unscrew from the front. You only need to unscrew the lower screw to remove the fog... then push the fog out from behind...
