    Sunroof problems?

    Hey guys,

    I Just picked up my 2nd e30, a 1991 325i and it is in amazing shape except one problem...

    Every time I open the sunroof it blows the fuse. I hear it pop, the sunroof opens all the way, then nothing works until I replace the 30amp. The comfortable weather is dwindling, so I would like to take advantage!

      any help guys? I know I must have a short somewhere, but I wasn't sure if this was a common problem.

          Try lubing the slides on the sunroof so the motor doesn't have to push so hard and draw too many amps and blow the fuse!
          The difference between porcupines and BMWs is that porcupines have the pricks on the outside!

              I'll try it, but it doesn't seem that there is any resistance on the sunroof.
