    replacing control arm bushings

I'm looking to sell my car and one of the potential buys wanted me to take it to a mechanic, and he said my wheels feel a bit loose and the he thought the control arm bushings are worn out. Is this normal?

If he wanted to fix this, could I just replace the bushings or do I need to replace the whole arm? Also, how much would it cost to do both sides/how long would it take?

    Thanks!

Whether the control arms need to be replaced, or just the bushings, depends on the condition of the ball joints in the control arms. A proper inpsection of the front suspension will tell if only the bushings are bad or if control arms, tie rods, strut bearings, or wheel bearings need to be replaced.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
