You can take them down to about 12lbs. I don't have a measurement for you other than that.

I've machined the backside down flush im woried about the front side.

Just have it surfaced and make sure they keep the step.

the rear of mine is shaved to the gears for shits and giggles on my m50 swap with g260 trans. i don't know about the front though.

my machinist took mine down to 12.5 lbs.
