Heater blower.

    Heater blower.

    My heater blower does not come on. I checked the fuses and they are fine. Is there place do I need to check? How about the blower switch? The car is 1991 318 is.

    break open the ol' firewall and take a look, also take a volt meter with you!


    to break open firewall (its easy btw) remove plastic cover for wiring harness, remove from firewall, remove ICV, shove wiring down behind engine out of the way, remove firewall plate, access blower motor housing, proceed to test w/ 12V tester. Also check the resistor pack. (the plastic thing with three wire coils on it)

      Don't be that guy that removed his entire dash to find out the blower comes out easily on the engine side. I still chuckle today about him.
