    '88 m20 running rough

Im finally about to start driving the e30, I've had it for about a year but have been working on other things. The car has always had somewhat of a misfire at low RPM's, from idle to about 3500 rpm it runs really rough (sounds like a truck lol)..I've changed the plugs, and o2 sensor. Im going to run some injector cleaner in it tomorrow, but I really doubt thats going to be the problem. I think it may be the water temp sensor, has anyone else had to replace this on theres? I know when the water temp sensor is bad the ECU changes the fuel mapping, so this makes sense to me. What do you guys think. Check engine light is also on btw. this is on an '88 325is

checked just now, seems to be fine. Also, I forgot to mention it seems like there is a constant drain on the battery, which I assume to be unrelated, but could that mean it could be the fuel relay?
