after i change the brake fluid and fix my gas meter the speedmeter, mpgmeter and radio doesn't work anymore. it was working before. i checked to all fuse, still good. during the brake fluid replacement and removal of the gauge (to fix the gas meter) i unhook the -+ battery couple times, rip out the brake lining wire from the pads. there couldn't be anything that would cause the speedo, mpg and radio to die. the mpg is jumping from 0 to 40. it is suppose to be around 30-15 when driving. any clue guys?

is it the speedometer or the tachometer? if it's the tach (rev counter) then it's a fuse. i cant remember which one off of the top of my head, but one of the fuses will take all 3 of those things with it when it goes.

Also, did you put a meter across fuse 21, or just eyeball it?S52-Powered 1987

update: i found out the aftermarket alarm is connect to fuse 21. Also, today i was driving and out of no where everything was working again, but its dead again. the good news is that my gauge is not broken and the bad news is that, there is an electrical problem.Last edited by mr.vang; 10-28-2010, 01:10 PM.Comment
