The awesome 1222 code, I REALLY NEED HELP!

OK, so i bought the car loved it had it for a while everything ran great! and then suddenly there were hesitation issues on the highway and then it got worse till it finally died on me and wouldn't start.
So i thought it might of been a clogged fuel filter, and replaced that, then i realized i needed a new fuel pump, so i changed that, and then the MAF sensor was bad so i replaced that, and still its idles rough, and when i drive it it feels like it just doesn't want to move, changed the spark plugs and it only felt A LITTLE better but I am still having problems. the idle control valve looks pretty new, but you never know. I JUST DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!!!!!!!!!

ALSO!!! as the engine was running rough i unplugged the O2 Sensor and then the engine got a HUGE burst of life and it ran better ( a bit to high) but no stumbling, so i plugged it back in and the car died.... is that supposed to happen?

The first actions should be to have a smoke test run on the intake and to run the fuel system tests in the Bentley. If the O2 sensor has 100k or more on it, it needs to be replaced.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Judging by how many people complaining about m42 hesitations have had their issue fixed by this; its worth a try, even if yours isn't hot start related.
