what am I missing here

I didn't see anything in the bible... can someone tell me what is supposed to be here [1985 325e], the one pic shows 4 wires sitting around on the drivers side just ahead of the shock tower.




this next one shows a random connector laying around *note I did not add this filter :)

well generally that spot is where the abs or the cruise control is.

on closer inspection that second connector looks liek the plug that goes to the sensor on the side of the air box

is there a sensor that could have been unplugged with the mod that was done removing the airbox?, and also, the cruise does not work....

First one is where the OBC alarm horn goes on early cars, and there is also a plastic cover that goes over it. Second one is for the Barometric Pressure/Altitude sensor which was removed with the stock airbox.

thank you very much, i think I should find that and put it back on. seems like the barometric sensor would be usefull if I drive up a hill.
