    front end question

Last winter I hit a curb with my front driver wheel when I hit some black ice. It bent something so that the wheel was sitting back towards the cab about 1/2-3/4 inch. I thought it was the control arm that was bent. It didnt affect the driving so i never was concerned with replacing it right away. Today I finally had an opportunity to replace it with a new on.

Well after replacing it i've realized that the front wheel is still sitting back some. I looked over everything and I do not see anything bent.

Any ideas on what could be causing the wheel to sit back some?

    Frame damage is a possibility
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
