Show some pics of how you mounted the AFM, or what did you use to connect the AFM to the manifold? Any custom set ups?

You can use the stock air box, you just have to get creative. I know, it looks like there is a gap, but there isnt. There is another gasket between the airbox and AFM.

you also claim 318is are faster than 325is.
How about non-amateurs with actual dynometers testing it:
RWHP Torque
M20 AFM 138.4 137.1
M30 AFM 143.0 140.6
M30 AFM
+ 4bar FP 145.1 141.6
THE WRITEUP on it pretty much:
Although if you SEARCH on R3V, you will leave a fuel pressure regulator is not needed. And the stock airbox can be modded for use. And the main thing is you need both 19lb injectors + M30 AFM.

Those results were taken from a very good tunning garage, everyone who had M30 afms were loosing power. But when they swtiched back to the stock units power went up. (not by 1bhp)
I claim that my 318is is faster.
Are you running a 4.10 lsd with a getrag 260? and a M20B25?

I can affirm that my car was noticably more responsive and quicker on the highway with the M30 AFM than the M20 AFM.
You almost have to have 19lb injectors to match up with the M30 AFM, or the AFM swap is not as effective.
