Brakes + Head unit = no sound

Didin't quite fit under ICE, but heres my problem. About twice in the past two weeks my break has been making my head unit cut out. The first time I started up my car and when I hit the breaks as I was backing out of my spot the head unit would cut out when I hit the breaks, then start up again once I let off. Happened one more time as I was breaking getting off the freeway and turning onto another street. Happened twice that time. Any similar occurances and solutions, or ideas as to the problem? Thanks in advance.

Totally pulling this out of my ass, but stranger things have happened...check around the brake pedal, make sure the power lead to the radio isn't caught in between - contact may be shorting the wire out.

    Other than that...gremlins :)

Just a WAG (wild ass guess) but it could also be a loose wire in at the stereo. The braking shitts the position of the wire slightly causing it to open.
