e34 m20 rear end swap

hi all iam new here and have just started stripping a e30 318i that ive had for years iam looking at upgrading it all round and replacing a decent engine into it .

my question is can the e30 4 cyl rear end be replaced with a 6 cyl e34 rear end without alot of mods

seriously can someone tell me the answer iam pretty sure it doesnt fit i know the rear struts dont but i cant find any where online that says the rest doesnt i can get an e34 rear end cheap is all thats why iam asking

It doesn't fit. There is very little that will swap over from an e34 to an e30, chassis wise.
