Swapping US Odo/Trip meter to Euro cluster

    Will this work?
About to pick up a Euro cluster, for my current cluster is not functioning properly. My odometer/speedometer stopped working a few weeks ago, MPG meter is all screwed up, and Fuel Gauge bounces around.

If its for the same year car it should work. Just reading in metric.

Why not find a US cluster instead of this one..?

You sure its even off a gray market car? not just a Canadian car.
AFAIK European cluster econo gauges read in km/L, or something along those lines.
Canadian spec'd clusters read in L/100km.

I just did the opposite, swapped a euro speedo/odometer into my US cluster and it works.

Haha sweet. Just curious, how easily (or difficultly) does the plastic cover come off?
Also - have any of you guys notified the DMV when you swap clusters? (because of mileage) I never did on the Peugeot, but my friend's telling me that if I don't, I could potentially get into trouble.
