    Strange Ticking...

When my car's moving I hear a strange ticking coming from the front driver's side wheel or whatever... When I brake the ticking stops, so does the vibrating. What could it be??

When I'm over 60 there's no ticking nor vibration

    Thank You

Possibly a nail? that would be the obvious thing to look for...
Ive had wheel bearings go bad and they make a whining noise. i dont think its that.

Jack up your cars front end, and spin the tire from where you suspect the noise to be comming from. if you can hear the noise. have some one else spin the tire and you look under the car with a flashlite. feel for vibrations and ticking that might lead you to the problem. BUT PLEASE be careful, make sure your car is securly jacked up before you start poking around and shaking things underneeth.

          i hope this helps.

Oh check your control arm bushing too. If you push and pull on your wheel, there shouldnt be any movement from yout control arm bushings. if they do move around the probly need replacing.
