No power to windows or switches

I am almost done assembling my car. The only problem Im having is the windows dont work. There is no power getting to the switches. The fuse is good, everything else works. Please help. Thanks!

What car is this? If a 9/87 or later 325 the windows are disabled (along with the HVAC blower) if the unloader switch in the starter isn't working or if the unloader relays are bad.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Your C101 connector isn't plugged in. C101 is your engine wiring harness connector to Chassis.

I switched the k5 and k7 relays around with a couple spares and still no luck. My blower works great along with all my other lights and radio.

Im going to check my c101. I will let you know in a couple minutes.

I checked out my c101 and its clean as a whistle.

Do both motors have to be plugged in for them to work? As in, the harnesses in the door jams. Im going to try that real quick.

Check the small green/black wire at your starter.

There is a terminal on the starter that shows ground at all times unless the starter is running, that is where that wire goes.

IF your starter is screwed up (happens ofter on remans) you can simply ground that green/black wire and all will be good.

I have a kind of intermittent issue with my windows not working that i assumed to be the unloader wire having a bad ground, but my blower always works. what else could it be?

You can bypass that window breaker switch if you are in doubt. On most e30's it does nothing - you can trash them if you would like to.

I bypassed the breaker switch, no luck.

Im still trying to find the wire on the starter. I know there is the "exciter", power, and ground. I find it hard to believe its that wire, but there is not much else it could be. :(

Thanks for the help so far guys.

The breaker switch I think has built in fail safe, so even if you bypass the switch it probably will not work any way. If I were you I would try and replace the switch first, then go from there.

Not all of them are breakers. Some are just plain old switches.
