how do i open the hood?

your wire might have snapped. Look into the front of the grill, near the driver's side headlight. There should be a little hole where you can stick a flat head screw driver, twist it (with caution) and the hood should pop open.

how do i open the hood of an e30.
I pull the lever and it doesn't do anything ...

does anyone know any techniques or any other ways to open a hood w/o damaging the car .
