    battery choice

i need a new battery. i've heard it doesn't really matter what kind you get, but i've heard good things about die hard. correct me if i'm wrong.

i'm running an amp and a capacitor off it if that makes any differance. o, and i don't really feel like dropping a lot of money on a dry cell.

also, what is the # that goes along with the battery that is specific to a 325ix

    thanks,

    marco

you might end up burning out your alt. when i just had 1 amp my alt. crapped out, if it does pm me, i have the mounting and wiring all figured out for a 150 amp gm alt. which is about 180$ can. and about half the price of a stock alt. and for the battery you can just go to the parts store and ask them for a battery for your car and theyll give you one.

It matters if your battery is in the trunk. If you put a conventional battery in there that isn't vented, you'll get acid fumes in your trunk. Also, finding one that fits exactly is very difficult. That can cause problems because of the nature of the battery hold down and your battery can come loose in an accident or even normal driving. The last time I bought a battery I got it at the dealer for a little over $100. It wasn't much more than a Diehard and everything fits right.
