    What your CSB should and should NOT look like

    heres what mine looked like.


    heres what it should.
    granted the one i got looked better than this :) all black with red bearing :) and the bearing on the black one (35$)i got spun so much freer than the replacement bearing (just bearing, not like the black/red csb/bearing listed above)i got for 26$ at advance auto

    but yeah heres an example of what it should look like



    also the guibo was about to go, ill take pics of that later today and edit the thread

    lol mine was the same way. I did a 5 spd swap and in 1 day the csb was gone. Put another 1 in and it took about a week. Then i finally came to the conclusion that the u joints were shot. Swap out my driveshaft and its perfect now.

      thanks for the pictorial. i always wondered what 1 of those looked like. where is that part located anyway?

        right in the middle of the driveshaft. It is what holds it up.

          It was called a "carrier bearing " ,when I replaced one on my pick-up truck a few years back.
