    Guage Accuracy

I am wondering if anyone has an aftermarket temp guage they have in their car. I would like to see if the guage in our car is relatively sensitive or more like the e36 one that doesn't move until temps are over 250 degrees.

        200ish, F.

And our gauges are not manipulated like E36 ones, but I doubt they are very accurate anyhow.

with a large cooler i run 220 on the track. 190-210 on the street.
ive read its safe to hammer on it above 150 and thats what i try to stick to.
when i stated water temp gauges are worthless i only meant for gauging warm up. obviously they have their place in gauging overheating
