    Help Euro Analog Clock

I think the clock maybe messed up but thought Id ask. It's weird because I wired the clock up just the same way bmw325csi has up on his thread:

This is for the multi-function clock harness.

Once you remove the mf clock you will see a harness which has about 12 wires, you only need 4. The analog clock has a # above each pin
    30-power
    31-ground
    58k-illumination power
    31g-illumination ground

So what you need to do is grab the mf clock harness and cut these wires:
    red/white-power
    brown-ground
    gray/red-illumination power
    brown/white-illumination ground

Sometimes the clock's light turns on but most of the time its off. That is when the headlights are on. And when the headlights are off it illuminates a little. So i dont know what the problem is. Maybe the light bulb? But it turns on sometimes. Maybe the wiring is loose but I played with the wires when it was on and it didnt make a difference. So i came to the conclusion that the clock is bad. Any ideas?

    Thanks
