    Broken Fan Blade

Well my fan tossed most of a blade anyway, some is still left. How bad is it to drive around like this. Is the thing going to be crazy off balance and knacker my waterpump now?

    Sold it.

You could just remove the fan all together. Don't know how hot it is in canada right now but you might be able to get away with no fan at all. Make sure your aux fan is coming on if the temp is getting like 3/4 the way hot. And if it is the buy a new fan. What caused the fan blade to break? That would be my number one issue.

It could be that maybe it had a stress crack in it somewhere, and eventually it got bad enough that it just broke off.

On a related note, I'd like to at some point get rid of my stock fan and replace it with an electric. There's an auto parts store here than is a retailer for FAL fans, and they have one that mounts to and fits on my radiator perfectly.

Ya it looks like a stress crack as there is no gauging or anything in my rad.

I might go elec fan, not sure as of yet.

              Sold it.
