    oops i broke this, important?

I broke this while trying to move my car without the dash installed. the wheel was just put on enough to turn the wheel, as i had to make space in the garage to move in another car. What is this piece to and can i easily fix it or do i need to get a new one??? I was turning the wheel and the airbag wire caught this piece and broke it.

it's for your horn. get a new one, drill the old rivets out and re-install with some bolts/nuts. done.

Yeah, new ones are like seven bucks, no biggie. Mine broke due to old age and my horn started blaring all the time. Don't put it back together and drive around unless you pull the horn fuse (unless you want to look like a chode driving around honking at everyone).
      paint sucks

Went to the stealership 8 bucks not to bad. also i pulled the old one out, no horn blaring. But the "auto off" function on the turn signals does not work anymore. Could this be due to the lack of part? A common ground maybe. I get the part tomorrow so i guess we will see.

I was replacing my odometer gears, what a pain it was. And a learning experience i guess the best way to learn it to jump in headfirst and give it a try. And take multiple trips to the stealer. Thanks for the info when i install the horn part i will look and see if there is anything broken in the area between the red circle, lol.
